THE QUESTION IS - WHO ARE THEY?
Somewhere I have seen them - for real. Considering EVA & ADELE are walking and living art, you would think that I should remember where I had seen them. Berlin? In an exhibition? At the Venice biennale where they go every year? Yes, it’ probably there where I came up across them for the first time. Surely my eyebrows rose a good few inches. It is not easy to accept this couple of walking art and yet somehow they more than attract attention.
Always identically dressed but not the kind of female clothing that my friends would wear. Just part of a photo of all their dresses They seem to be like an event within an event. You go to an opening. There they are and they too seem to be part of the show, even if they are not. Their "traveling car" Whatever they do or wherever they go, they are « a museum ».
This all happened in 1991 - nearly 26 years ago. They met, f e ll in love as a man and woman. Of course they could have go
