One more day and there was a must….go back to the Modern Pinacotheque to see the the few exhibitions I had missed out on and look a little more at the permanent collection. After the marvelous experience with the Kirchner (which I went back to see too), the permanent collection was good but not exciting. Even the Picasso room seemed a little dull or was it that so much seemed to be lacking in color. Picasso 1881-1973, Madame Soler 1903 Picasso, Woman 1973 Picasso, Artist and Model 1963 APicasso, Artist and Model 1963 I have now come to the conclusion too that every time I see Georges Baselitz, (1938-1973) I will see him upside down. I have showed many pictures now from permanent collections where he seems to be obsessed with that view. I still like his work though.
