ANOTHER OF THOSE NAMES WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE - FOR ME - TO PRONOUNCE
Another name which I just can’t pronounce. Gabritschevsky was difficult enough and then I came across INHANCUTILITATEM by Josef Nadj. I was walking past the Collège des Bernardins and saw the poster which seemed to be intriguing. Photographs? Water colors? Why all that blue? From the outside of the old vestry, I saw this. Was it real? Practically dreamlike. Obviously I knew nothing about the artist. Josef Nadja is a choreographer and plastic artist. Here he is presenting a series of photographic blue-prints redesigned from the beginning of photography. Outside of his profession as Choreographer and Director of National choreography of Orlean, he describes himself as an artist without barriers. Dancer, plasticien, photographer he adds that his is passionate about humanity (oh yes) and romantic too. For this exhibition he wanted to look at the oldest form of blue-prints and when they stopped being produced - nearly a century ago. It’s a blue and practically mystical return to
