AND AFTER BARCELO ONTO PICASSO
Barcelo may not be the easiest of artists to look at, but his work is so full of energy that I enjoy it immensely. I came out of the exhibition thinking will l look at the new presentation of Picasso’s sculpture? I looked down at the entrance and as there seemed to be no-one around, l chanced it. First there were a few paintings from the cubist period which I didn't know. Man's Head 1908 Man's Head 1909 The Tree, 1907 Goerges Braque " Still Life with Bottle" 1910-11 A lot of the sculptures I knew and to be frank there were rooms when they seem to be on top on of one another and plus people these galleries seemed rather crowded. I just took in these few -and enjoyed them. I always do enjoy Picasso, n’est-ce pas!
